Art Adventures Art History Class

with Pam Robinson

March 2nd & March 30th 6:30pm

Every year the Cultural Center facilitates the ‘Art Adventure’ program in area elementary schools. Community volunteers visit classrooms to teach students about 6 different works of art from the Minneapolis Institute of Art’s permanent collection-curated with a theme in mind. We are now offering a learning opportunity for teens and adults!

In these two sessions, participants will view and discuss three large prints of 2D & 3D artwork from the theme: ‘Friends, Families, and Communities’. We will wrap the evening up by exploring one piece of artwork with the same theme from the Cultural Center’s permanent collection of former Arts Retreat participants work!
