Ceramic Tile-Making in 2 Easy Sessions: March 16 & 23 @ 5:30pm

With Ceramicist, Brad Wegscheid

Make ceramic tiles to hang on your wall!
Bring natural objects, lace, fabric, rubber scrapbooking stamps, or baby feet to make impressions in your tile. Some items including dragonfly shapes and plants, will be provided to use.

Join us for this fun opportunity to learn new skills, enjoy wine or mead, and connect with friends, artists & art appreciators!

In the first class session, participants will form and press shapes into their tiles, which will dry between sessions. In the second session, participants will brush an iron oxide wash onto their tiles to finish them. Instructor, Brad Wegscheid, will then kiln fire the tiles and return them to the Center when they’ve baked and cooled. Students can then pick up their work at 24 N Main Ave in New York Mills during regular hours: 10am-7pm Wed & Thur, 10-5 Fri, and 10-3 Sat.

$33 Fee. $30 for CC members.
