Prairie Chicken Booming at the Nature Conservancy's Bluestem Prairie

Several hardy souls made the trip to the Nature Conservancy's
Bluestem Prairie on April 17 to see the annual Prairie Chicken booming ritual.
The male chickens were dancing and preening, and making a wonderful
sound that fille the booming ground.
