Knifty Knitters Knitting Class
There is nothing in the world like creating something with your own two hands…except maybe creating something with your own two needles!
Join these Knifty Knitters in their 2-session knitting class on Tuesday June 14th and Tuesday June 21st. The $20 fee covers both sessions. You’ll learn to make your own yoga bag or beach tote bag!
This class will be taught by a regular of the Cultural Center’s Tuesday night Sit-N-Stitch, member Shelley Johnson. She is self-taught knitter who is an expert in crochet and a variety of fiber art forms.
Knifty needle tools will be checked out by class participants and yarn will be covered by the class fee. Each participant will complete a knit tote bag. Concepts to be covered are: casting on, the knit stitch, forming a doubled edging, decreasing, and completion with casting off.
Dates: Tuesday, June 14th AND Tuesday, June 21st
Time: 6:30pm-8:00pm
Cost: $20.00
Ages: 10 years old through adults
