Whether you’re looking to stretch and strengthen the body, or ease your mind after a long day, this class has you covered. You’ll be guided through a series of postures, connected by the inhales and exhales of your breath, for a full-body and mind experience. Great for all levels—beginner yogis and advanced practitioners are welcome!

Class will be offered in our upstairs yoga studio on both Wednesdays (6-7pm) and Thursdays (5:30-6:30pm), beginning February 10/11 through May 25/26, 2016. Fee is $10/class, or purchase a 10-class punchcard for $90. Please dress in layers and BYOM: bring your own mat. (Cultural Center members get a $1 discount per class, or a $5 discount off the punchcard! Mention your membership when you check in, and become a member anytime to qualify for discounts in our Gift Store and other classes and events!)

Certified instructor Emma Olson’s first experience with yoga was in the summer of 2014. As a former dancer, she found it to be a new way to bring movement into her life, but most enjoyed how it offered an outlet for her anxiety and stress. After encouragement and support from her instructors, Emma signed up for Power Yoga Teacher Training through CorePower Yoga in Minneapolis. In December 2015, she completed her 200-hour certification. Emma hopes to offer an energizing and liberating experience for her students, to guide them to a place of strength, balance and self-acceptance.
