The Cultural Center is pleased to announce its 21st annual Regional Adult Art Show. This is a favorite gallery exhibit among locals and visitors alike, featuring a wide array of regionally created original artwork in a variety of visual art forms.
This exhibit will be in the main floor Gallery at the Cultural Center from Wednesday, May 31st through Saturday, June 24th, 2017.
A reception for artists and community members will be held on Friday, June 2nd from 7:00 – 9:00 pm, featuring live music from The Jazz Committee. It promises to be a fun evening of connecting with other artists and community members and enjoying music, light refreshments, and wine in the midst of lovely regional art. Free to attend and all are welcome.
The Jazz Committee is a trio out of Fargo/Moorhead consisting of Race Hoglund on Saxophone, Nick Cameron on Bass, and Stefan Duginski on Drums. The performed at last year’s Regional Show Reception and were a hit. We are pleased to welcome them back again this year.
There will be four $50 “Best in Category” awards given at the reception on June 2nd (two each in 2D and 3D). There will also be a $50 “People’s Choice” award announced at the conclusion of the show.
This gallery exhibit is sponsored by Central Minnesota Credit Union of New York Mills. Thanks to CMCU for the support!
