Celebrate Summer 2020 in Otter Tail Lakes Country with Art in YOUR Park!
Join us at any of the dates/times/locations below for fun art projects for kids this summer! Workshops will be held 10:00 – noon, unless noted otherwise. Rest assured, Art in Your Park plans have been adjusted with safety in mind.
- Saturday June 27: NYM Central Park
- Wednesday July 8: NYM Smith Park
- Friday July 10: NYM City Hall Parking Lot **PLEASE NOTE TIME: 7:00-8:30 p.m. @ Parking Lot Party**
- Wednesday July 22: Wadena Green Island
- Wednesday July 29: NYM Lund Park
Due to COVID-19, we have made several adjustments for 2020. We have delayed and shortened the schedule. Workshops will be held in the mornings ONLY, from 10am-noon. Workshops are planned for ages 2nd grade and up (please do not bring very small children, due to distancing and safety challenges). Workshops will be limited to only 8 children at a time. If 8 children are working on a project, your child may have to wait until someone is done before they can participate. Hand sanitizer and wipes will be available and physical distancing will be observed. Masks are encouraged.
Children interested in participating are requested to sign up by calling 218-385-3339 or emailing Cheryl Bannes at cheryl@kulcher.org. Please make sure to provide accurate contact information, so that we may contact you if workshops change.
Art in Your Park (AIYP) is free, but not without cost. These art activities for kids are available thanks to the generous support of our donors, members, and grant-making organizations.
