August is right around the corner so enjoy the dog days of summer outdoors creating crafts!
The final Art in YOUR Park events of 2015 will be taking place August 3-7 in New York Mills and Wadena. The activities will focus on turning trash to treasure as we take recyclables and transform old CD’s into mosaics, turn magazine pages into silhouettes of your favorite animals and use cans to make robots!
Dates and times are as follows:
Monday, August 3rd from 10 am-12 noon and again from 1 pm- 3 pm at Smith Park (NYM)
Wednesday, August 5th from 10 am- 12 noon and again from 1 pm-3 pm at Southside Park (NYM)
Thursday, August 6th from 10 am- 12 noon and again from 1 pm- 3pm at the LIONS shelter #2 in Wadena
Friday, August 7th from 10 am- 12 noon and again from 1 pm- 3pm at Lund Park
