Come to a masquerade at the Creamery on October 25th at 8pm. Local band Dorthy Fix (featuring Michael Dagen and Amber Fletschock) will open for Beware the Vine for our first ever concert at the Creamery. Cover charge $5 is waived if you wear a costume. Snacks, wine and beer and non-alcoholic beverages will be for sale too.
BEWARE THE VINE is a dark cabaret duo, comprised of Aimee Klein and Todd C. Ruzicka.
BEWARE THE VINE is a vaudeville-esque act that plays a variety of music, from classic musical theater numbers to hard rock covers, all performed on keyboard, accordion and a unique, stand-up drum kit.
We provide musical entertainment, with a healthy dose of theater and humor. BEWARE THE VINE is a throw-back to the days of the traveling Big Top shows (with the wonderful addition of electricity)!
BEWARE THE VINE’s first performance took place at the famous and notoriously-haunted PALMER HOUSE HOTEL in Sauk Centre Minnesota, in the middle of a savage thunderstorm. It was a perfect debut and the band has never looked back!
“Beware the Vine is an eccentric and exciting duo in the vein of the Tigerlilys and Dresden Dolls, with the key distinction of being much much better.. It was an absolute honor to play with them at the Aquarium in Fargo, ND ” — Avery, THE GODDAMN GALLOWS, Farmageddon Records
“It’s like watching a play from the 1920s–except it ROCKS!” — an audience member at the debut show.
“You guys remind me of the Human League meets Young Frankenstein!” — a semi-inebriated, older gentleman who had just witnessed our show with the GODDAMN GALLOWS band.
BEWARE THE VINE turns any mundane gathering into a magical EVENT!
The current running-time for this show is approximately one hour.
We hope you will join us, and enter our curious world . . .
