About the Artists
Caitlin Robertson is an American musician and singer-songwriter who describes her sound as folk-rock-country-pop.
Her songs weave together Minnesota prairie farmgirl roots, wild and unsettled Alaskan spirit, and a touch of Southern swampy mystery. Through intricate narratives and emotionally rich songwriting, Robertson delivers simple truths with melodies that are both sweet and haunting.
For this special concert, Robertson performs with Wildrose Fox, a collaborative project where poetic country songs meet expansive, atmospheric instrumentation.
Alex Sandberg’s ethereal guitar and Jeff Mueller’s intimate, understated drumming form the foundation of the band’s dreamy, earthy chemistry. Evelyn Christian-Ronning’s harmony vocals add a luminous, poetic layer, while Cole Mickelson’s balanced bass lines provide a powerful pulse that carries listeners through the narrative landscapes Robertson sings of.
Together, the group creates an immersive listening-room experience—perfectly suited to the Cultural Center’s gallery space and its excellent acoustics.
