Fall 2024 Workshop Kick-Off

The New York Mills Regional Cultural Center is pleased to kick off its Fall Workshop Series on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 from 10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at the Cultural Center.

Unleash your creativity and learn how to craft a beautiful mosaic bird using vibrant, colorful stained glass. Whether you’re an art enthusiast or a beginner, this hands-on workshop will guide you through the entire process from start to finish.

What You’ll Learn:

  • Glass Cutting Techniques: Master the skill of cutting glass to create intricate shapes.
  • Proper Adhesive Use: Learn how to securely affix the glass pieces.
  • Grouting: Finish your artwork with expert grouting to make it ready for display.

By the end of the workshop, you’ll walk away with a stunning mosaic bird, approximately 4″ x 9″, perfect for hanging in your home or giving as a thoughtful gift.
