February 24 – March 28, 2026
Artist Reception: Saturday, March 7 | 1โ3 pm | Free and Open to the Public
The New York Mills Regional Cultural Center is pleased to present Conversations with Nature, a group exhibition featuring art and photography by Laura Grisamore, Dawn Rossbach, and Jeremy Simonson of Studio 176 in Park Rapids.
On view from Tuesday, February 24 through Saturday, March 28, 2026, this exhibition brings together three distinct creative voices united by a shared dialogue with landscape, texture, light, and place.
About the Exhibition
Conversations with Nature explores the varied and personal ways artists engage with the natural world. Through both fine art and photography, Grisamore, Rossbach, and Simonson offer unique perspectives that range from expansive scenes to intricate details and fleeting moments.
Through lens and hand, the artists translate the beauty and complexity of their surroundings into works that invite viewers to slow down, observe closely, and reflect. From evocative photographic studies to expressive artistic interpretations, the exhibition reveals how the environment inspires curiosity, reflection, and connection.
While each artist brings a distinct style and medium, the exhibition is unified by a shared spirit of attentiveness โ capturing moods, textures, and subtle moments that might otherwise go unnoticed.
Artist Reception
A public reception will be held on Saturday, March 7, from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at the Cultural Center. The event is free and open to all, and light refreshments will be served. Guests will have the opportunity to meet the artists and learn more about their work, perspectives, and creative processes. All are welcome!
