Metal Artists on Display

Open House Reception Saturday, August 23 @ 10AM – 3PM

The New York Mills Regional Cultural Center is proud to present “Heavy Metals,” a juried gallery show celebrating the artistry, craftsmanship, and bold beauty of metalwork.

This exhibit will run from July 30 to August 30, 2025, and feature both decorative and functional pieces by metalsmiths, blacksmiths, knife makers, and metal sculptors.

Gallery Show Dates:

Location: Cultural Center Gallery, 24 Main Ave N, New York Mills

Open House Reception & Metal Demonstrations:

Saturday, August 23, 2025

  • Open House 10AM–3PM – Artists welcome to demo and sell work

  • Gallery Reception – Celebrate the show with participating artists and the public

  • Demonstrations  will take place outdoors behind the Cultural Center

📌 Additional Info for Participating Artists:

  • Work does not have to be for sale, but preferred

  • Please label all work or submit a list with:

    • Artist Name

    • Title

    • Materials used

    • Price (if for sale)

Display Capacity:

  • Up to 30 wall pieces depending on size

  • 4–5 large sculptures (floor space)

  • 10 pedestals available

  • Small works (knives, spears, etc.) will be securely mounted

No storage available for large pieces after the show – please pick up artwork promptly or make arrangements in advance.
