Starting September 11th, Springboard for the Arts will present its entire ten-part Work of Art: Business Skills for Artists series in partnership with the New York Mills Regional Cultural Center and Minnesota State Community and Technical College’s Business and Entrepreneurial Services Program. Join a cohort of artists committed to launching or improving their artistic small businesses for a monthly meeting on the second Tuesday of each month (see one exception below). Artists from either the Lake Region or Five Wings Region are eligible to apply, and the artists selected to participate must be able to attend all ten sessions. There will be no charge for these workshops which will be presented as part of the classes to be offered in 2012-13 in the Continental Divide Folk School, a program of the New York Mills Cultural Center.
The workshops will be held monthly on Tuesday from Sept 2012 – June 2013, from 6:30 pm – 9:00 pm (second Tuesday of every month, except for January 2013, when we will meet on January 15). Social hour from 5:30 pm to 6:30pm.
Location: New York Mills Cultural Center, 24 N. Main Avenue, New York Mills, Minnesota. The primary presenter will be Kathleen Richert of Springboard for the Arts.
