Who doesn’t love a good meat raffle?? Meat Raffles are some of the good stuff of rural America, especially when held at the local VFW.
We love partnering with local organizations, and the VFW is a regular partner both through the monthly Meat Raffle and as one of our venues for our annual Kalevala Puppet Pageant in their fabulous outdoor space. We are grateful for the opportunity to work with local organizations and know that when we all work together, we all do better!
The Cultural Center will host Meat Raffle at the VFW on the second Friday of each month, October 2024 through May 2025. We invite everyone to come out, enjoy some food and drinks and good conversation at the VFW, and possibly win some meat AND some Cultural Center event tickets!
The Meat Raffle begins at 6:00 p.m. and generally lasts about an hour. Come early for the best seats! Cultural Center Board Members volunteer their time to run the meat raffle and are happy to share more information about the Center and our upcoming events.
