We are thrilled to welcome internationally acclaimed singer-songwriter Sofia Talvik for a special concert on Thursday, May 29, 2025!

Sofia Talvik is a rare gem among modern folk artists, an avid storyteller with a voice reminiscent of legendary icons like Joni Mitchell, Judy Collins, Buffy Sainte-Marie, and the spirit of Laurel Canyon. Her delicate, heartfelt songs are delivered with an angelic voice, tastefully accented by rich harmonies, subtle delays, and the steady picking of her acoustic guitar.

Adding a unique rhythmic texture, Sofia accompanies herself with the gentle percussion of bells, a stomp box, and the rhythm of her own two feet, creating a full and enchanting soundscape as a solo performer.

With an impressive touring history that includes performances across 48 U.S. states, throughout Europe, and even as far as New Zealand, Sofia brings a worldly warmth and depth to every performance.

Her latest album, “Center of the Universe” (2023), received critical acclaim, debuting in the Top 20 on the Folk Radio Charts USA, with its lead single breaking into the Top 10. The album was even considered for a Grammy nomination for Best Folk Album, solidifying Sofia’s place as one of today’s most compelling folk voices.

Don’t miss this unforgettable evening of stories and songs that will transport you across landscapes both emotional and geographical.

About Sofia Talvik:

Unmistakably Nordic in flavor, Sofia Talvik somehow still conforms to American interpretations of her own original music, a North Sea siren blending sparkle and melancholy, creating a special niche of folk music that has been described as neo-folk. She is a veteran performer with 8 original full-length albums as well as numerous EPs, singles, and tours behind her.
