Silk Scarf Painting with Cheryl

Join us for our final Saturday Arts Learning Class of Spring 2018!
After demonstration, participants in this class design and paint their own scarf. Size of scarf is 8″ x 54″. Bring your own pattern ideas OR there will be patterns available to choose from at the Center. Wear clothing appropriate for painting and/or bring an apron.

Illuminated Letters and Celtic Art with Cheryl
Saturday, February 24 @ 10am-Noon
This class takes a look at photos from the Book of Kells and the Lindesfarne Gospels, illuminated texts which were created in the 8th Century. Then using inks and markers, create your own illuminated initials or name.
Fee: $15 or $10 for members. Open to Ages 16+

Water Media for Painting and Drawing with Cheryl
Saturday, March 17 @ 10am-2pm
This class uses watercolor pencils, water soluble oil pastels, watercolor crayons, water soluble graphite pencils, and markers to draw and paint simple landscapes on watercolor paper.
