We use the service Network for Good to allow our donors to contribute securely online.
During this time of quarantine and social distancing, please remember to support local businesses, artists, and all organizations negatively affected by the closures. This is a trying time for all, but we will make it through together, as long as we all support each other.
Here at the Cultural Center, we are working hard to reschedule events, share creative virtual experiences, and support our communities, staff, artists, and volunteers to the best of our abilities. Check our Facebook page for “Daily Doses of Kulcher” to brighten your day AND for links to useful resources and information.
If you’re able, please consider making a contribution to help us continue our operations during this closure. This helps us replace lost revenue due to canceled events. Click “Donate with Network for Good” button below to make a one-time or recurring donation online, send a check to us at PO Box 246, New York Mills, MN 56567, or contact email@example.com to learn about sponsorships, sustaining memberships, and other creative ways to support our work in cultivating the arts.
BIG THANKS and virtual hugs to all!
Your contributions always make a difference in the lives of our rural residents and the artists with whom we connect. Thank you for considering a contribution to the New York Mills Arts Retreat (our legal name)! Your support makes it possible for us to continue to bring high quality arts experiences to the people of our rural region.
This photo shows Chris Koza and his band at the New York Mills High School during a residency outreach activity in September 2019. Students worked with band members to learn song-writing skills. The band then performed several of these songs for students.
Donations made to the Cultural Center helps us continue to partner with schools and other community organizations to provide resources like these to students and residents of all ages.
A gift of any size will make an impact:

We are so grateful for all of our donors and members in New York Mills and all the communities that surround us in the West Central Minnesota region, and beyond.
Your contributions help us continue our efforts to enrich our community by bringing people together to experience art, culture, and creativity. This is at the heart of our mission: to be a rural hub for creativity, community vitality, and lifelong learning in the arts.
This photo shows elementary school students viewing artwork in our annual Regional Elementary School Gallery Show. The experience of seeing their work in a real gallery setting is something that makes a real difference in how they view art and the world.
