Local artist/volunteer hosts holiday fundraiser for Center December 14-17
To help take some of the pressure off this holiday season, AND add an artists’ touch to your packages, let Cultural Center volunteer and local artist Lynn Kasma wrap your holiday gifts for you!
Lynn’s gift wrapping skills are well know around here, as she has been lending her talents to our annual Stock-Up Sale for the last few years. This photo (at right) shows some of her beautifully wrapped packages from previous years.
This year, as an added benefit to our community, during the week following our Artist Bazaar & Stock-Up Sale (click here to learn more about those events), Lynn will be at the Center wrapping gifts for a reasonable suggested fee per package. Lynn will wrap any gift — they do not need to be items purchased at the Center. Per package fees are as follows:
- Small (coffee cup size or smaller) $1.50 each
- Medium (shoe box size) $2.00 each
- Large (bread box size) $2.50 each
All funds will be donated to the Cultural Center to support future programs. Our sincere thanks to Lynn Kasma for this generous donation of her time & talents!
You may drop off and pick up your gifts anytime during our regular open hours Wednesday December 14 – Saturday December 17, 2016:
- Wednesday December 14, 10am-7pm
- Thursday, December 15, 10am-7pm
- Friday, December 16, 10am-5pm
- Saturday, December 17, 10am-3pm
If you’re in a hurry, drop them off one day and pick them up the next…Lynn will wrap while you go about your day. As a special bonus, the first 10 customers will receive a FREE large reusable mesh bag for carrying their packages home!
We will have forms for customers to fill in when you drop your gifts off, to keep things straight. To clarify once again, gifts can be from any store; this is not limited to gifts bought in the Center’s shop. Boxes are not necessary, but are appreciated if you have the right size; however we will have a variety of sizes available.
