Elizabeth Tannen is a writer, journalist and editor, born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. Her essays have been published on NPR, Salon and The Rumpus, among other places. She writes the blog Dating in the Odyssey Years, and blogs for the Huffington Post.
From 2005 to 2008, she worked as a producer and editor for NPR’s All Things Considered in Washington, DC. In 2012, Elizabeth earned her MFA in Creative Nonfiction from the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque; she attended Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota and Stuyvesant High School in Manhattan.
Elizabeth is using her time in New York Mills to work on revising the manuscript whose original draft was her MFA dissertation, a literary memoir about her blended family.
