Mind Your Business celebrates New York Mills businesses and people. The gallery show is set up in three sections, past, present and future. There are many vintage photos of businesses, people and places; new photos and stories of current businesses and a place for visitors to add what they think the future holds for New York Mills and the area.
The show has several interactive pieces. We would love to hear the stories of those who live here, so we have provided sticky notes in the gallery to add names and information to the vintage photos and pads of paper to write down any stories you have about New York Mills that you would like to share.
We want to feature all our local citizens in the show so there is a spot for you to take an instant photo and then write your name and your occupation on it. Throughout the month, we will be interviewing local people about their business or to hear their stories of New York Mills. Check out our Facebook page @ccnym to view video interviews.
The show will be in the gallery through the month of December.
