Pop-Up Visiting Artist Concert
Noa Fort is a musician from New York who will be in New York Mills as a visiting artist for two weeks in September and has offered to play a solo concert for our community. Click here for videos: http://www.noafort.com/music.html
When the Cultural Center was founded, its name was “The New York Mills Arts Retreat.” The artist retreat and residency program remains central to the mission, purpose, values, and vision of the Center today.
This new “Visiting Artist Pop-Up” series will feature visiting artists of all disciplines offering various outreach opportunities such as concerts, workshops, readings, and more, often on rather short notice, as residencies typically last just 2-6 weeks.
All are welcome to this free live music event. A free will donation will be collected to help support the Cultural Center’s Arts Retreat residency program. Doors will open at 7:00, and a cash bar will be available.
