Beginning the week of October 18, 2015, and through the end of 2015, the Cultural Center Gallery and Gift Store will be open the following hours:
- Wednesdays 10am-7pm
- Thursdays 10am-7pm
- Fridays 10am-5pm
- Saturdays 10am-3pm
- Closed Sundays/Mondays/Tuesdays
Being open later on Wednesdays and Thursdays is something that has been considered for some time, and has now come to fruition as we approach the fall and holiday shopping season. These extended hours are to better serve our community by providing access to both the gallery exhibits and shopping in the gift store after typical workday hours. These Wednesday/Thursday/Friday hours now match our neighbor, the New York Mills Public Library, which again should be a benefit to customers who utilize both the Library and the Center.
We have long been closed on Sundays and Mondays, but have decided to try out being closed on Tuesdays as well through the end of the year, during this quieter and colder time, as an way to save money on staff time and heating costs. Once again this year, we will close for the month of January as well.
