Spring 2021 Workshops

Join us for these arts learning experiences at the Cultural Center this Spring!  COVID safety guidelines observed, including masks, distancing, and limited attendance (see below for maximums per session). Pre-registration is required — just give us a call at 218-385-3339.

Saturday, April 3, 2021: Pisanki: Egg Batik. 10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Egg batik/dying is a spring time art made in several countries. We will learn the basics. 10:30-1:30 (approx time, you may finish earlier or stay a little later) $20 nonmembers, $15 members. Max of 6 people.

Wednesday, April 14, 2021: Open Studio: Drawing basics- perspective / foreshortening. 5:00 – 6:30 p.m.
“Open studio” is open to anyone, high school and older who wants to learn the basics of drawing. You can also bring in your own project to work on. No set fee, please donate what you wish. 8 people max. 5:00-6:30 pm.

Saturday, May 8, 2021: Garden Art. 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Using found objects, paint, metal shears, glue and as many other objects as we feel are necessary, we will create some wild flowers or animals to put in the garden. $20 non members, $15 members. 6 people max. Information for suggested supplies will be available at the Cultural Center.
