You’re invited to attend Todd Green’s multi-cultural performance on Saturday March 14th, 2020 @ 7:00 p.m. at the NYM School Auditorium!

Global Multi-Instrumentalist Todd Green performs original music on over 30 acoustic string, flute and percussion instruments from all over the world, inspired by many different cultures in the Middle East, Central Asia, Far East and South America. His custom-built electronic system allows him to layer instruments as he performs, which in effect turns him into a high-tech one-man-band of World Music.

Todd’s artistic mission is to “help bring down the barriers that divide us by experiencing other cultures through their music” as he takes his audiences on a musical armchair-tour of the world.

Todd takes his audience on a fascinating tour of many countries and their diverse styles of music, he intersperses his playing with entertaining and informative explanations of the music and the instruments. Todd Green will allow rural Minnesotans bask in a rich cultural experience! Todd’s artistic mission is to “help bring down the barriers that divide us by experiencing other cultures through their music.”

Regardless of your musical interests and background, Todd Green’s concert is a uniquely gratifying experience with elements of both the familiar and the unfamiliar, and promises to broaden everyone’s musical horizons in an unforgettable way.

In conjunction with his concerts, Todd offers residencies, ranging from master classes for college music students to age-appropriate interactive clinics for students of all ages, preschool through high school.  While in New York Mills, Todd will spend time with students at the New York Mills Elementary School and the Perham High School. NYM 4th graders will spend extra time with Todd and are invited to participate in Todd’s final song at the public concert on March 14.

All are welcome to the public concert held on Saturday, March 14, 2020 @ 7:00 p.m. at the New York Mills School Auditorium. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.  Tickets are just $5 for adults and can be purchased at the door.  Students / children are FREE!
